Using our Hong Kong projects as a base, and after eighteen months of research and planning in Yangon and Mandalay, we launched our Myanmar programmes in 2015. Over a few short years, BEST was established in two Mandalay-area schools with our teachers teaching over 1,000 students and with plans for additional schools in 2020-21 academic year. However, in 2022, BEST Myanmar was suspended as it became increasingly more challenging for our program to be delivered effectively amidst political uncertainty and the Covid-19 pandemic.
